Growing up in the British midlands, my first encounter with live theater, other than the school nativity, was my mum and dad taking me to the Birmingham Rep to see their Christmas shows. Each year was something spectacularly different - The Snowman, Blood Brothers, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe - the catalyst for where I am today.

My love for performance fuelled me from part time Saturday drama classes, to full time drama school. Training at institutions such as Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, RADA and NYU started my love for all elements of theater, the production, the storytelling, the development, and ultimately led to the creation of FATTER Productions.

Artistic collaboration, the amplification of new voices, and the magical abyss that exists in the boundaries between film and theater are all the elements that make up the skeleton of FATTER. Then to flesh it out, to add a little depth, to make our work bigger, better, fatter.. That’s up to interpretation, really.

Born in Lyon — the city that invented cinema — I grew up between France and Rabat, Morocco, surrounded by books, theatre, and film. From an early age, I was drawn to light: how it shapes faces, landscapes, and meaning. That curiosity led me first to photography, then to studying cinema in Morocco, where I learned to apply French formal techniques to Moroccan stories and landscapes.

I later moved to New York to complete my BFA at NYU. Since then, my work across theatre and film has centered on creating and supporting stories that reflect multicultural perspectives.

I started working at FATTER as a Film & TV director, and quickly moved on to take on my own producing projects in Film and Theatre. I am now in charge of creating and expanding our artistic vision, and organizing our community.
